Welcome to the ISS Webpage

While in In School Suspension the students are given an opportunity to complete the work they are missing in class.  All of their teachers are contacted as soon as they are assigned to In School Suspension and asked to bring or send work down to the room.  I am there to assist the students with any questions they may have while completing the work, while also enforcing the room rules.  The students are encouraged to hand in completed work to me and I will put the work into the teachers’ mailboxes at the end of the day.  If the student has completed all work or has not had work sent down, the newspaper is delivered to the room everyday for student use.  There are also various word games and activities that can be done silently to occupy their time.

IN SCHOOL SUSPENSION RULES

1.     No Sleeping.

2.     No Talking.

3.     Be respectful of all others within the room.
