Mrs. Suda is the Library Media Specialist at Cheektowaga Central. She started at Central in 1995 and is a graduate of Slippery Rock State University and also has a Masters of Library Science from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to coming to Cheektowaga she had been an elementary school librarian for eleven years, a librarian in a suburban Pittsburgh high school, and spent two years as a part-time reference librarian at Seton Hill College in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Thompson is the Library Media Specialist for Pine Hill and the Middle School. She will be at Pine Hill K-1, ACE days and BDF days at the Middle School. Mrs. Thompson is a graduate of Buffalo State College and received her Masters in Library Science from the University of New York at Buffalo . Her experience includes ten years as a children’s and youth services librarian with the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library System. She was also an elementary school librarian in another WNY school district for two years. Mr. Johnston is the Senior Library Clerk and has been at Central since January, 2009. He manages the library budget and processing library orders and books. Mrs. Strychalski came to Central in 2004 and serves as the Teacher's Aide in the library. She works with study hall students and manages the circulation desk. Mrs. Sajdak joined the library staff in 2007 and is the clerk typist. Her primary tasks include: managing the patron database, processing periodicals and working with the audio and video collection. All of the library staff are committed to providing Cheektowaga Central staff and students with the best library service possible!
