WELCOME

"What is science?  That... is the question."  Biology, aka the Living Environment, Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, Forensics and many others embody a set of facts, hypotheses, theories, and laws known as SCIENCE.  So how do they all work together?  What do the words theoretical, systematic, empirical, rational, predictive, universal and public have in common? Together we will embark on a journey of learning to answer the questions before us... the questions of life iteself!

My classes provide an interactive study of science that when met with rigor and diligence will leave you feeling accomplished and ready for what the future holds!  Please be prepared to work together to figure out the science around us. You are expected to attend class each day with all necessary supplies, as well as completed homework assignments.  It is imperative that you come willing to discuss topics and ask any/all quetions that you have.  True scientific exploration is a team effort and every member is vital!  It is your responsibility to be up to date with the work load - the utmost committment to the year ahead is expected. 

I will leave you with one final though to ponder as you remain focused throughout this year:

A Time For Everything

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cray and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
 A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.

So what does it mean to be a time for school???
We are back, it is time for school 2011-2012, make the most of it!
