Welcome to Mrs. Gnorek's Kindergarten Classroom Kindergarten maybe the single most important educational stepping stone your child may experience. Please remember you are your child's first teacher. The educational habits you embrace will become the model your child will emulate. Remember the cliche about apples and the tree, it is so very true.  Please set aside 15 - 20 minutes every afternoon, find a cozy place to read to your child, rhyme words or practice identifying number 1 - 20. As the year goes on your child will be reading to you and adding numbers 1 - 20. The kindergarten year is a time of growth socially, emotionally and academically. It is truly an amazing experience.
