Senior High Health is presented for twenty weeks and is recommended for students entering grade 10. The topics covered attempt to address the issues and situations that confront teenagers and their families now and in the near future. This is a required class for Graduation.

Remedial Night is Monday

Tests and quizzes

- All quizzes and tests will be announced

- If you are absent you are expected to make up missed quizzes or tests within three class days.

- If you are illegally absent(skip class) you will receive a 0% for that assessment.

Grading  

- Homework and other assignments are severely penalized if handed in late.

- Quarterly averages will be computed based on test, quizzes, homework, in class assignments, projects and class participation.

The following topics are addressed with varying degrees of depth. Current events and developments may also alter the topics.

Family and society, Nutrition, fitness, mental health, Relationship skills, Growth and development, abstinence, Reproductive issues, Sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/ AIDS, environmental issues, Disease and disorders, Personal safety, Organ donation, and current issues
